Terms of Service

By using UPSC Topper, the Android app or upsctopper.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

UPSC Topper is a study platform for competitive-exam aspirants. It includes a study room and study tracking, a planner and revision schedule, quizzes and leaderboards, AI evaluation of answer sheets, a community feed, stories, direct messages and voice/video calls. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, use it with the knowledge and permission of a parent or guardian.

You agree to:

• Give accurate information when you sign up.
• Keep your password secure and not share your account with others.
• Take responsibility for what happens under your account.
• Tell us at once if you believe someone else is using your account.

You keep ownership of what you post: posts, comments, stories, messages, quizzes and uploads. By posting, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute it as needed to run the Service. You must have the right to share anything you upload.

You must not post or send content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit or harassing.
• Infringes someone else's copyright or other rights, including paid study material you do not have the right to share.
• Is spam, advertising or unsolicited promotion.
• Impersonates any person or organisation.
• Shares someone else's personal information without their consent.
• Contains malware or harmful code.

Direct messages, voice notes and calls are for respectful study conversations. Do not send unwanted, abusive or sexual messages, and do not record calls or share someone's messages without their consent. You can block anyone, and you can report users and content to us.

Play fairly. Do not use multiple accounts, automation, or any trick to inflate your study time, streaks, coins, scores or rank. We may correct or remove results obtained this way. Coins, freezes and other in-app rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.

Answer-sheet evaluation and AI-generated quiz questions are produced automatically by Google Gemini. They are study aids and can be wrong or incomplete. They are not an official assessment by UPSC or any exam body, and you should not rely on them as the only basis for your preparation.

We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these terms or harm other users, the Service or third parties. You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings; see the Privacy Policy for what is deleted and how to request full erasure.

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Try to access accounts, data or parts of the Service you are not allowed to.
• Interfere with or overload the Service or its servers.
• Scrape or collect other users' information.
• Get around any security or rate limit.

The Service and its original content (excluding content posted by users), design and features belong to UPSC Topper and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep study material, current affairs and quiz answers accurate, but we do not guarantee that any content is complete, correct or up to date, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. UPSC Topper is not affiliated with UPSC or any other exam body.

To the extent the law allows, UPSC Topper is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from content posted by other users, from reliance on content in the Service, or from your exam results.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and announce significant changes in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
